I worked on both the motor controller and the cockpit panel this weekend. I ordered the KT-5198 from Ocean Controls to use to control my platform motors. I was able to wire it up, but I have yet to test it. I should find some time this week to adapt my program to make calls based on motor speed and potentometer position.
I also decided on a single cockpit design and drafted it up in Artcad. Last year my home "project" was to build a CNC machine, so I used it to cut out the panels. I then painted them with textured flat black and dark grey paint.

This is a small video of the software test with Flight Simulator X. I used the simConnect SDK and C# to get the data out of the flight sim.
